Why We're Doing This

This is bigger than business.

I want WTF to make everyday life a little better: less junk, less wasted material, less wasted time, and fewer stupid problems people should never have had to deal with in the first place.

Yes, I want these companies to succeed. But the point of succeeding is to earn the chance to solve more real problems—not to become the kind of company that creates them.

Why I'm Doing This

Make a real difference.

I'm not trying to become some corporate big shot. I want to fix things that make normal life harder than it needs to be. Too much plastic gets used once and tossed. Too many products are harder to repair than they should be. Too many people lose hours of their lives fighting bad tools, bad systems, and needless work.

My goal is simple: come up with better ideas, challenge them hard, and push the good ones toward people who can actually make them real.

What I Want to Change

Less waste. Less pointless work. More useful ideas.

Too many systems are built around making, replacing, moving, or throwing away things that people should not have to deal with in the first place. That costs materials, time, money, energy, and human effort.

Less unnecessary plasticLess throwaway clutterLess wasted laborMore useful ideas that help people

WTF wants a different path: better design, simpler systems, easier repair, and products that earn their place instead of becoming more junk.

The Heart Behind It

Do something good with the ideas we have.

If you're family, a friend, a customer, or a future partner, this is what I want you to understand: this isn't about chasing status or acting like a giant corporation.

A product that lasts longer can mean fewer replacements in the trash. A repairable part can save somebody from replacing a whole machine. A smarter process can cut hours of pointless work.

And efficiency should give people some of their life back. It should not become an excuse to pile even more work onto them.

If we can leave people, families, and the planet a little better than we found them, the work means something. That's why I'm doing this.
